Friendship

Friendship is life for some, its trust and bonding for few, and its beauty and love for others. They say its god’s gift, some say it has to be in your stars to have a friend and few also say you need to be blessed to have one. There are yet others who say you need to be a friend to know what friendship is.

What is friendship? Is it to spend time together, have fun, lots of laughter and pulling each others leg? Is it long discussion with lot of sharing of knowledge? Does it just involve going out, having great food, shopping together, sharing your clothes, long phone calls?

What does it require to maintain friendship? Good sense of humor to keep the group in the laughing spirits- as people usually tend to move away from boring and dull individuals, able to poke fun at oneself, some form of talent to keep others in awe. Well not too sure but does good look matter? How about money- the spending power? Or is it just simple contact well maintained through phone calls or mails?

Or do people just want to belong to a group and call it “friends”, for the fact of being otherwise left out in the society. What brings them together, is it identical viewpoints, or just the company of the person, is it the pure innocence of the individuals or with some inner motive like providing and receiving help, with as simple as listening and to be listened to?

There have been instances when no one has stood by a person when he or she needed his or her friend the most, though the group managed to give a rather warm welcome and send off but failed to stand by the person at the time of the need. But yet now when it requires to having fun and enjoyment, the whole team get together… how is it possible? Will the group stand through in a crunch?

There are instances with your♫ friend moving on…once they find the love of their life… and so its time for you to move on too…There are instances with friends just getting busier in their lives and hence its time for you to wait for the friend to get back… There are instances with friends just behaving totally indifferent in the presence of their other rich friends…well its time for you to realize and highlight the value of your friendship… There are instances with friends with regard to taking you for granted and to approach you only during their emotionally tough times… its time for you to stand by and prove your friendship… There are instances with friends… friends… friends…

There are instances with friends where you fail to understand the concept of friendship, while yet you long for one…
